The story plot is all about the system of education in India, its advantages and disadvantages. Super star Sri Murali had released Vascodigama's trailer at an Engineering College in the Bangalore city. It was also released in at least two hundred colleges all over the state and country.

Poornachandra Tejaswi composed the film's background score and music for its soundtrack, with the lyrics written by Madhu Chandra, Shiv kumara Swamy and Yogaraj Bhat.
