Bajirao Mastani movie banned in Pakistan, It failed to get no objection certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification CBFC of Pakistan state.

"According to reports in The Express Tribune, Mobasher Hasan, the chairman of the CBFC stated that the film is in Hindi, and as per their ordinance, Hindi films cannot be screened. Adding to it, he said that the historical drama is indirectly against Islam and Muslims, since it explores the relationship between Bajirao Peshwa and his Muslim wife Mastani. While there were speculations that the film was banned because of certain dialogues and intimate scenes, Hasan clarified that reasons for not allowing the release of the film weren't these."

But Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale movie was accepted to screen.
