Director Puri added, "Loafer movie is a commercial entertainer movie with a good Subject with Mother and Son Sentiment. A mother wants to see his son in a good position and child father made his son as a loafer. What happens to the Son? Why did the parents of the Child are separated? all these questions will be answered in this movie."
Puri said, “Revathi was a very good actor and her performance in mother role was extraordinary. Disha Patani is pairing with Varun and her glamor was the main extraction for the film. The songs came well and mother song would be the main highlight in the film. Varun fights, sentiment scenes and dialogues are superb”.

"#Loafer is like that loaf of bread which comes with a new garnishing of oats & honey. Once you slice it you realise that it's the same bread #Loafer - liked the tone of the film in the first half. Quintessential Puri's film. And then it packs in waaaaaay too much stuff in 2nd half

Loafer has five songs are which are composed by Sunil Kashyap
- Nokkey Dochey-- It is the tempting song of the album, Singers are Sri Sunil Kashyap, Sruthi
- Nuvvedusthunte-- Song lyrics are very attractive, sung by Yazin Nizar he gave good vocal for this song,
- Jiya Jile-- the most lovable soundtrack, this song was sung by Yazin Nizar, Pranavi.
- Suvvi Suvvalamma--This song would be liked by each and everyone. Lyrics are very catchyThis song was sung by Karunya.
- Chutta Beedi- It is the mass song of the album, this song was sung by, Rahul, Sravana Bhargavi.
Plus Points:
Varun Tej proved his talent with his new avatar in mass role under the Puri narration, Posani is the main asset for the film, Revathy and Varun mother son relationship is extraordinary. Second Half is good.
Negative Points:
Boring and little bit dragging in the first half, few un necessary comedy scenes, Brahmi's episode is not necessary.
Final Verdict:
Forget about the highlights go and watch this movie to taste the mother sentiment and wish Varun all the best.
