This movie is featured with Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati who appeared in the India's Biggest Blockbuster movie Baahubali-The Beginning and Allu Arjun acting in the key roles. Anushka will be seen as the Rudhramadevi as the queen of the 13th century of the Kakatiya dynasty. Rani Rudrama Devi or Rudradeva Maharaja was one of the prominent rulers of Kakatiya Dynasty in the Deccan Plateau and ruling the queens in Indian history.

Director Gunasekhar made this script based on the life story of the Rani Rudramadevi, Nayantara, Anushka and Priyanka Chopra are asked for the title role but Anushka was fixed, she has the experience of working in Arundhati. To act in the role of Gona Ganna Reddy, Mahesh Babu and Jr. NTR are approached, but no one is selected, eventually Allu Arjun roped for this character.

The plot revolves around the queen who will rule the Kakatiya dynasty in 13 century, we will see Anushka in a brave hearted role. Neetu lulla performed well with the costumes. The camera works looks well, punch dialogues, war sequences, artworks, VFX effects, camera work, its looks like these things will take away the audience fever on such movies. The trailer received an overwhelming response within 12 hours after the release of the trailer in YouTube, so far it was watched by 4Lakhs users. This film made with Rs 130 Crores.

Rudhramadevi songs are composed by Ilaiyaraaja. He is one of the finest music composers in India. He worked in more than 1000 films and composed 5000 songs, he is predominantly working in the south Indian Cinema from 1970. He will use Western classical music harmonies and string arrangements in Indian films which brought him rich in the background score. We will get inspired with the combo SP Balasubramaniam and Chitra with the Ilayiaraja's music.

1. "Avuna Neevena Ne Vedhukutunna"- Hariharan, Sadhana Sargam: It looks like odd score note singing alongside Hariharan in this melody.  
2. "Choosukovo Theesukovo"- Chithra, Baba Sehgal: It looked to be fun in hearing Chitra voice in this song with Baba Segal.  
3. "Punnami Poovai Vikasisthunna" - Shreya Ghoshal & Chorus: This another pretty melody soundtrack roped with Shreya Goshal, she gave a charming performance in this track.  
4. "Madagajame Neeku Machikai"- S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Chithra, Kailash Kher & Chorus: Kailash Kher made executed well with this piece of track.   
5. "Allakallolamai Desam"- S. P. Balasubrahmanyam: It looks very standard, but it may not effect the SPB vocals.  
6. "Anthapuramlo Andala Chilaka"- Chithra, Sadhana Sargam, Chinmayee & Chorus: This final track makes up with a great tune, with some work of clarinet. 

This would stand in the best list of Ilaiyaraja in his journey.
